A future for our books

2356 books gifted to the Kerusso Trust

The Grogan Library has donated books to the Kerusso Trust, a Christian charity that partners with churches and organisations in Malawi to provide Bible training for church leaders.

In conjunction with J-Life Malawi, the Trust supports and provides training workshops for pastors for which it has developed Bible-centred teaching programmes. Sylwia Grabowska-Szumska, Librarian, explains: “We realised we had more books than we could use. Some were duplicates, others were no longer relevant to the courses we offer, and we hold some titles as e-books. We asked Kerusso Trust what would be most helpful to them and picked out what they needed. In the end we sent 96 boxes! It was a massive job, but worthwhile".
